MESSAGE ... INCOMING GRAND CHANCELLOR DELTA KAPPA
As a resident brother of APO, together with my fellow brothers and sisters, and my former Grand Chancellor Mark Anthony Bathan, we eagerly tried and did our best for the betterment of the organization. There are ups and downs, there are ‘tampuhans’ (misunderstandings) and there are also quite a number of good times. Though I am a young brother in APO, I can proudly say that these experiences from the past few years had taught me a lot and brought the best in me. Yes, life is ironic, but it is what it is. We may be down for sometime but I am glad and proud to say that there are brothers and sisters who are always there and will not leave you in times of trouble.
In this organization, we face a lot of challenges, how we view them defines us. Taking these challenges as hindrances and obstacles together with the negative connotations of problems could give us a great deal of wasted energy and negative mindsets. But, however we at Delta Kappa Chapter, choose to see these challenges as opportunities for us to grow and develop not only through our own selves but together as brothers and sisters with the help of God, we’ll forever be the STRONG MEN AND WOMEN OF ALPHA PHI OMEGA.
-Ryan Dayo. DELTA KAPPA.
A MESSAGE... incumbent GLC SIS MISIE DICANG
June 2009, the position was given to me, with that responsibilities and expectation of the former GLC's and alumni were all in my mind. So I thought I must build my own identity but as I am taking my journey as GLC I realized that it wasn’t about that but just simply make the sorority busy with services and other activities.
I am not hypocrite to say that my term was smooth, theres always what we called “downfalls” DISAPPOINTMENTS AND FAILURES . But then I let myself to realized that all of those are part of the reason for me to grow up, to learn from it and to become a better per son
My experiences being the GLC taught me a lot. To open wide my eyes to see the real world where I belong, the good and bad side of sorority or the APO as a whole and to let my brain to go beyond my limitations to understand it.
In three words I can sum up everything that I’ve learned in life and being the GLC “IT GOES ON” because life is a process of continue learning.
We finally decided and voted, sis daphne rose Ambat, one of our well trained sister, a leader, aour frien and she love to do service..
A new generatio will take place, new idea will come up and a new way to express what sorority can do!!!
DELTA KAPPA SORORITY STAND STRONG!!

SORORITY WEEK: THE BIG NIGHT
This is the ultimate night, the highlight and the FINALE of the FIRST EVER DELTA KAPPA SORITY WEEK at the
It was September 25, 2010, Saturday and the Banio Creek Farm had accommodated all the Alumni, Resident and Guest from different chapters who had traveled to grace the celebration
The event started with a doxology by Brother Fredo Garalde and Brother Elden Ambat. Then the Grand Lady Chancellor Sis Misie Dicang welcomed all attendees with her opening remarks . She also gave a report regarding what had transpired with in the whole week . This was followed by an n intermission number that has been given by the new delta kappan's of Batch 2010. After which Sis Rachelle Prudencio gave the introduction to the speaker of the night.
Our Guest Speaker Sis Celia Valdez shared her thoughts and words of wisdom based on first hand experience of a chapter's right to stand inside the campus or university where they belong . A very high impact message especially for all residents who attended who are deprived of their right for existence in their own school or campuses.
After Sis Celias's talk a song performance was given by Faye Arcilla the talented daughter of Sis Erma and Bother Floyd Arcilla. Sis Erma also took the stage to speak in behalf of all sorority alumni , she called and recognized all DK Sorority who was there and also all the alumni who had been the key for the success of the Sorority week .
Everyone took a while to reflect of the DK's activities over the year presented in a video by Sis Shae Moralde. The formal event was officially closed by a closing prayer .
Then fellowship followed with a PARTY blast!
With the up-beat music in the air and guest performance of the Rapper for the evening everyone is hype up to party. There had been raffles from a one day spa accommodation to the Shangri-La hotel to small mugs and caps. Everyone enjoyed the prepared games by the residents such as the Wine Drinking Contest amongst others. There has been an awarding for all starts of the night. Souvenir pins and the first issued news letter had been distributed.
After all the preparations and hard work ,the residents and alumni of DELTA KAPPA here and abroad had celebrated this event with full joy in their hearts, knowing that even if the DK sorority had been though a lot of hardship and challenges over the past...
Today’s generation will still STAND STRONG with bond of love for the Sorority and the love for DELTA KAPPA.
And as the theme goes...Times change: Sisterhood remains!
